The more devices you have, the more the list needs order. Good binding, naming and grouping let you find the right machine among dozens, even under pressure.
How binding works
Signing in on the host binds it, and it appears in the list. You can also add a device manually in your account using its identification code and verification code.
- Signing in on the client binds automatically
- Manual add with identification and verification code
- Unbinding requires signing in again
- One device binds to one account at a time
Naming and grouping
Name devices as "location + purpose + number", for example "Shanghai-Store-Checkout-03", then group by region or business line.
- Include location and purpose in the name
- Group by region, business or function
- Share groups with team members
- Remove devices when they are retired
Reading status
The list shows online, offline and busy. Clicking a status reveals last seen time and network details, which helps explain failed connections.
- Online: you can connect right away
- Offline: check power and network
- Busy: another session is running
- Last seen time helps diagnosis
FAQ
A device always shows offline. Why?
Check that it is powered on, the client runs and is signed in. If it is switched off, pair it with remote power-on.
Do I rebind after changing computers?
Sign in with the same account on the new machine; remove the old device from the list if it is no longer used.
